In a recent news report Columbus ranked in the top three cloudiest cities in the USA. Guess the other top two cities? Our hometown favorites…Seattle and Portland. Dave loves the cloudy weather, but I love the sunshine. The winter here is very bleak and depressing. It doesn’t become light until about 7:30am, it gets dark by 5:00, and it remains cloudy in between those hours, so about this time of year you have completely forgotten what sunshine feels like. When it finally makes a new appearance I feel almost as thought my spirit has lifted, my entire mood changes. This weekend was VERY cold, but at least the sun made an appearance. Ava and I sat by the window and named all the things we could see outside…including the bright sun. :-)
