Raising the most beautiful girls in the world…
9 month check up, Japanese food, and swinging!

What a busy day. Ava had her 9 month check up today (30 1/2 inches long, 20 lbs..right on track in all areas). Then, we went to eat Japanese food tonight. We went to our favorite restaurant, Akai Hana (formerly known as Restaurant Japan). Ava ate their food for the first time. She had a pretty good meal that included miso soup, sweet egg (egg cooked with a little sugar and fish flakes), cabbage, and of course, tofu and rice. She really liked everything. She LOVED the egg and miso, and ate all of the tofu too. The pics are from our outing yesterday to the park. The weather has finally turned here and today and yesterday it was in the 60s finally. It feels so good to see the sun again. It is amazing how it lifts your spirits after a long gloomy winter. We made it to the park for a little swing time to pay homage to the sunshine. Too fun.
