Ava and I (Dave had to work) headed to Alabama this week to watch Sara graduate from helicopter pilot training. She will be flying Black Hawk helicopters. She graduated with honors at the top of her class, along with her financee Jeff (pictured below). They are moving to Texas where they are stationed at Fort Hood for at least a couple years. Congrats guys!
June already.

I can’t believe it is already June! With summer comes…Texas heat. Or humidity. I think it is the humidity that I am not used to. Of course, carrying around the extra preggo weight doesn’t help much either.
I can’t even imagine what August will be like. Ava started school this week. It is taking a little adjustment. She cries when I drop her off and was upset both days when I picked her up. The teachers assure me that in between she does fine. I think it will just take some time for her to get used to it. It’s only for a few hours, two days a week. It’s giving me a little time to get some work done. We’ll see how it goes. I don’t know if Ava realizes that she is going to be a big sister or not, but she found her baby toys in the closet today and thoroughly enjoyed those again. I think we might have an issue when the new baby needs to use them.
