Raising the most beautiful girls in the world…
June already.
I can’t believe it is already June! With summer comes…Texas heat. Or humidity. I think it is the humidity that I am not used to. Of course, carrying around the extra preggo weight doesn’t help much either.
I can’t even imagine what August will be like. Ava started school this week. It is taking a little adjustment. She cries when I drop her off and was upset both days when I picked her up. The teachers assure me that in between she does fine. I think it will just take some time for her to get used to it. It’s only for a few hours, two days a week. It’s giving me a little time to get some work done. We’ll see how it goes. I don’t know if Ava realizes that she is going to be a big sister or not, but she found her baby toys in the closet today and thoroughly enjoyed those again. I think we might have an issue when the new baby needs to use them.

Oh yeah the old baby toys are fun for older kids — they know what to do with them, so they try to sit in them, etc. But, they can teach the little ones how to play with them too. Also, sometimes they’re perfect for the dolls that my daughter’s collected over the past few years.
