Ava worked so hard to learn to cast…she didn’t quite get it yet. But, not too shabby for a first try.

 

 

 

Weather was great, food was delicious, family was delightful. What a great weekend!

 

 

 

Yep, for almost a week now. She does great when she has a toy or something to hold onto in front of her. We had a GORGEOUS day today. Spring is coming! Hope your day was great too.

 

 

I wanted to get rid of Ava’s beloved nightime crutch by the time she was two. But, then we moved. And then, we had a new baby. And then, we moved again. Seems like it was always something. So finally, last night at the ripe age of 2 1/2…we put all the binkies in the mailbox for the binkie fairy to come and collect. In return, she left Ava a nice kitchen. And, if I do say so myself….that binkie fairy (along with her magic in-law elves)did a pretty good job of putting the thing together. Some 20 parts and 900 screws later…it is a masterpiece.

 

 

 

Special concert performance by the jammin’ dad-daughter duo. Audience members included Aunt Rhonda and rocker-wanna-be Olivia.
