Winter gardening coming to a close.
Our winter garden is coming to a close. We’ve managed to eat Swiss Chard a few times, but honestly that is about it. We still have some broccoli, carrots, lettuce, and brussel sprouts in the pipeline, but I don’t know that we will beat the heat that is coming soon. I have started to look at the gardening supply catalogs to plan for our spring/summer garden, but given the arrival of our newest family member, I don’t know when we will plant…maybe we’ll make it???

I love Ava’s expression in this picture. I’m not exactly sure what’s transpiring here, but if I had to guess, I’d say she’s thinking (if not saying) “I’m the big sister, I can do this but you’re too little to do it”. I’ve only seen this look a hundred times from Ryan.
Or, she’s giving a full narrative to Olivia on how it’s done! Hehe.
